About Us
Es Gelat is an artisan ice cream shop in Cadaqués, blending the tradition of Italian gelato with the ingredients of the Mediterranean.
Our story
It all started with one passion: making real ice cream, slowly, with no rush and no shortcuts. Angelo, our master gelato maker, learned the craft in Italy and chose Cadaqués for its light, its landscape, and the wealth of local produce.
Awarded internationally
Our work has been recognised at the Identità Golose congress, one of the most prestigious gatherings in world gastronomy, where Es Gelat was named one of the best gelato makers in the world. An award that confirms our way of understanding the craft, based on quality and respect for the raw ingredients.
